  • Do you still think Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder would be a good fight to watch?

    Anthony Joshua, 27-3 with 24 KO’s vs Deontay Wilder, 43-3 with 42 KO’s.

Is this still a good fight? Would you purchase the PPV if they fought in 2024? Do you think this match still has entertainment value to it, in your opinion?

I think the fight will go ahead. Hearn knows theres money in it and will claim that AJ wants Wilders name on his record from a legacy standpoint. I cant vote because i stream which means i wont pay for it....but of course as a boxing fan i'll still watch it. Look out in the coming days for the ring rust excuse by Wilder...backed up by Eddie. It wouldnt surprise me if Wilder could land one as i have always believed AJ to be scared of Wilder...and its not like Wilder got "beaten up" against Parker.

It’s still a big fight no longer the biggest though ,that is now Fury vs Joshua but like Wilder he probably loses bf that happens ……….Usyk is a good fight for anyone but really only a third Joshua fight could spark as much interest there bc Usyk needs that type of opponent, I don’t believe Fury vs Usyk can generate a Joshua vs Usyk interest no matter who wins .

The problem for Wilder is he has to take a safety fight and pick an opponent with less punching power then go for Joshua as a last fight bc I stated this awhile now his shelf life is 2025 or before that , the same with Fury .

If Wilder fights Joshua it will be the same results I expected anyway even worse now that’s a brutal knockout loss for him and that’ll be calling it a day his wife won’t dare let him fight after that one . I’d still like to see it though ,let’s be real Wilder staying active can put on a better performance then he did with Parker however you won’t notice it because Joshua hits to fast to hard to precise for him it’ll be over bf round 4 .

The only benefit for AJ is just humiliating Fury further by winning more impressively against common opponents which he has been.

2 flawed punchers is always worth a watch for me. It has lost a fair bit of appeal but I'd still be interested.

I'd still watch it, but AJ is the A-side now without any doubt. Wilder let himself down massively, should have fought earlier in the year. It may be that Fury took Wilder's soul.

AJ looked better than he's looked in awhile, but Wilder looked worse than I've ever seen him look so idk that I wanna see it now or that it makes much sense. I mean Wilder looked like he didn't even belong there yesterday. There's having a bad night & losing & all that, but Wilder fought like one of those novelty boxers on a KSI show ffs. I'd argue at this point if you wanna try to make AJ vs Wilder you gotta redeem Wilder somehow so throw him in with Ngannou or something & if he wins then maybe make AJ vs Wilder.

No, I think Wilder should earn his way back.

So what if Joshua beats him now, Fury & Parker just did it too.
