Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker Rocks, Shocks Deontay Wilder For Decision Win, Derails Joshua Fight

Joseph Parker torched the best laid plans to a long-sought Anthony Joshua-Deontay Wilder fight. The former WBO heavyweight titlist masterfully carried out a specific game plan designed to neutralize Wilder's historic knockout ability as he claimed a lopsided unanimous decision victory. Scores were 118-111, 118-110 and 120-107, all for Parker in their battle of former titleholders Saturday evening at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Does this loss affect Wilders legacy? I definitely think it hurts his credentials because Parker would of been his most credible win.

Horrible boxing strategy and fight. Sleepy head fought like he was there for a check.

What happens when you get greedy and you try milk things for aslong as possible. There was no reason why Joshua vs wilder shouldn't of happend tonight. Parker boxed a good fight tho boxed well didn't over commit and just racked up the rounds.

I sincerely hope wilder retires. He is awfully boring to watch, is unintelligent, and clearly doesn’t want to push himself to win. I do hope they pbc doesn’t take him back to waste money on him

Parker cheated, he beat Wilder. You don't beat Wilder unless you cheat. Spiked water, loaded gloves take your pick. Wilder looks so good when friends take dives for him. Too bad Parker is no friend.

Wonder where all the wilder fan boys will be at now. I wonder if they’ll accuse of Parker of tampering with his gloves too. In all seriousness though, wilder is terrible, Malik Scott is a horrible trainer, and wilder needs to call it quits.
