Comments Thread For: Jai Opetai Destroys Ellis Zorro With Brutal One-Punch Knockout in One

Jai Opetaia didn't care who was in front of him. The message was going to be delivered that he is still the baddest cruiserweight on the planet.

I’m really not liking these horrendously one sided mismatches on this “historic” card so far. This is how fighters get permanently damaged

Opetai the real deal. But these last 2 opponents about as crap as you can find.

this guy is a great fighter, he seems to be small for the division as well but his skills are miles ahead of everyone

I knew Opatai was Good when he beat Marcus Breidis.

Breidis gave Usyk all he could handle in the WBSS Cruiserweight Final.

Can someone tell me why this wasn't considered a world championship? At least in the boxing media? I mean, Jai holds The Ring Championship, which while not being from an official sanctioning body, has more pedigree, and is arguably the *only belt that matters in the alphabet soup era. However many belts there are, there can be only one true champion of the world. Can anyone seriously dispute that Jai is the best in the world under 200 lbs? Uh, no.

I would love Bivol - Beterbiev winner to move up and fight Opetaia at cruiserweight.

With raw power and solid technique, he's a formidable monster, most def. His footwork will improve. He still bounces too much. That telegraphs his offense.
