Comments Thread For: Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez Planning For 115-Pound Run Following Edwards Fight

It doesn't appear that WBO champion Jesse Rodriguez is long for 112 pounds. The boxer nicknamed "Bam" is getting ready for his 112-pound title unification bout against IBF crown holder Sunny Edwards on Saturday at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona on DAZN.

Not a good sign for the upcoming challenge. If he's weight drained and can't keep up, it's gonna be a long frustrating night. Sunny gonna run circles around him.

Handle biz Saturday night, then a fight vs Gallo has FOTY written all over it. First things first, Bam gotta stay focuse on the task at hand

Recently, El Gallo said he's moving up to 118 to chase a belt in another division. I don't think the Bam fight will happen with him at 115.

He balloons up between fights. I wouldn't mind seeing him go after Estrada next if he wins.

Shame because that would be a helluva fight, not only that, out of all the current champions from 115 and 118, there isn’t anyone else I’d rather see fight Gallo then Bam, assuming he wins Saturday… and of course assuming he moves up there after too

                Maybe they meet at 118.

As for 115, you can take Junto Nakatani off the list, too:

Bam Rodriguez could probably avenge his brother (Joshua Franco) by fighting Kazuto Ioka.
