  • Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn Seeks to Sign Jaron Ennis: 'You Need Someone Telling the World that This Kid Is Special'

Promoter Eddie Hearn says welterweight hotshot Jaron "Boots" Ennis could use a carny barker promulgating his talent to the masses. And the head of Matchroom Boxing believes he is the right man for that role.

Every money fight at 147 or 154 is with PBC. Why would he sign with Hearn?

He doesn't have opponents for him.
It would be another Andrade story.

Hearn is right: Ennis certainly isn’t getting where he wants to go doing what’s he doing right now. He’s begging for meaningful fights and when the prospect of having one with someone like Devin Haney is raised, his father immediately shoots down the idea instead of hyping it up. It’s amateur hour stuff. Just sign a 3-fight deal, 18-month deal with Hearn and DAZN and see where things then.

Boots doesn’t need Hearn promoting him or telling the world how special he is because outside of the UK, we all know Hearns word doesn’t mean shyt. We’ve seen him blabber about how special guys like AJ, Benn, Callum Smith and others were and we see through the BS on this side of the pond. Plus he doesn’t have anyone relevant opponents for boots to fight.

Will sign a 3 fight deal, fight absolutely nobody, claim he’s being avoided, and will go right back to being his own promoter. this would be the 5th case of this since dazn became a thing. Much like showtime and dazn never got a return on their investment on Canelo.

Hearn is without doubt the best promoter going. No one else gets close. This year has been a great example of that, keeping AJ and Benn in the news when they shouldn't have been. He clearly has his excellency's ear as well so any and every fight is a possibility. Ennis should sign with Eddie and demand to be on the Fury-Usyk card.

Because booty ennis got a ****** fanbase that hopped off the Spencer clown car. The guy has done nothing and all these morons hyping him up.

If he signs with Hearn then it's a clear as ever he never wanted spencer or crawford. But i also cant blame him, hearn is a dumbass making dazn bankrupt overpaying fighters. Also ww is trash.
