Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia Targets Romero: I Don't Know If You Have A Real Injury; Heal That ****, I'm Gonna Beat Your Ass

Ryan Garcia has just the opponent in mind for his first major title. The junior welterweight contender has WBA titlist Rolando Romero in his sights and continues to campaign for that to be his next fight. Garcia continued that path after an eighth-round knockout of Mexico's Oscar Duarte in their DAZN-aired bout above the 140-pound limit on Saturday from Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

It's the most winnable fight he can make at 140. May as well go for it.

But the question becomes how does it get done. Showtime is gone. So it should be a easy fight to make with Ryan as the A side against rollie. But it's mayweather and de la hoya. Somehow politics will get in the way.

Ryan better go the broner, rollie route and avoid the haney/regis/Matias/teofimo route.....build the momentum back to a big ppv fight because Ryan looked better but not much better.

The DAZN crew had me laughing when they seem to refuse to mention Subriel Matias as a "Top" fighter @ 140! Matias vs. Garcia would be a good one while it lasted! I hope Teofimo can come down off the Cloud 9, because Lopez vs. Garcia PPV, on Super Bowl Weekend is about as good as it can get @ 140! Rolly is a clown!

Rolly is still in hiding from the shame of the Barroso robbery. He's an easy ko for Garcia.

I'd be absolutely shocked if this Burger King Crown wearing cornball fought an Actual killer at 140.

Keep calling out Elmer Fudd's long lost Hispanic brother- that's a much safer fight then the others.

The Tik Tok star loses to Haney, Matias, Teo & regis.

              F--king waste of time

Way to go Ryan. Calling out the guy who is ranked 20th at 140 on BoxRec.

But Rolly has to fight the mandatory. Is there something going on with Ohara Davies? Seems a bit suss that no one from his team or Golden Boy sorted out the visa
