Lopez was coy on the terms of the offer, and who exactly presented the deal, but when Garcia promoter Oscar De La Hoya was asked to comment on the matter, he said there was no truth to the former lightweight champion's statements.

i dont think he beats haney though so that could be a problem right there

i think he should go the rolly level route to find his groove at 140, unless of course hes not even confident of that one, i think he should be able to manage that level ok and then strike for a big one when the time is right

i really dont know if cryin needs to play it safe, maybe a fight with haney would be good alrite, cryins fans and casuals may stick with him if he puts in good performances even losing ones, who knows, he doesnt have that 0 anymore to protect

i cant see cryin in it for the long haul, he may need to get a few big fights paydays while he can, haney teo type of stuff, thats what oscar seems to be thinking anyway, cryin mentioned rolly, so maybe theres a conflict of how to proceed there as well
