Comments Thread For: Jamaine Ortiz On Shakur Stevenson's Injury Claims: "De Los Santos Just Didn't Allow Him To Do What He Wanted"

The words of Jamaine Ortiz were drowned out. Although he shouted as loud as he could, those who heard him gave the lightweight contender an incredulous look. Shakur Stevenson was heavily favored heading into his showdown against Edwin De Los Santos earlier this month.

You can always tell when a guy is full of crap. Shakur said he had a bad night, but it was the luckiest night of his life. He didn't get KOd.

Jamaine lost to Loma in October 2022, had one fight in 2023, but steady talking! He has done nothing to make anyone want to see him fight Shakur, and now he's at 140! He's wasting precious time! He needs a guy like Brandun Lee, Jake Catterall, Batyr Akhmedov, or Richardson Hitchins...ASAP!

Absolutely didn’t allow him. Plus he showed the blueprint for fighting this c#nt. Don’t reach and leave yourself open, let him stay behind that jab waiting all night long. After the historic snoozer vs de los santons, he’s going feel the pressure from the public to have to take more chances and get caught with punches
