I hate that ****** b.s. if you are a professional prize fighter, you owe it to the public, the fights we want to see. if not then retire. you guys act like once someone gets a big win or two then they've done enough lol. silly. and why boxing is and has been going to apps that nobody wants or knows about.

My point exactly , he does hit hard but for how long
His stamina is shot to pieces
    He’ll stink up the joint
After a flurry might even need a 10 second break
The only way he gets the win is if he’s buys the judges , again

He’s not washed up or shot, he still has the skills, but at this point I don’t think he can go to war anymore like how he did with GGG. I don’t think he has that in him anymore. Prime Canelo would’ve stopped a John Ryder level of boxer the way he had him hurt. And Canelo was trying HARD to get him out of there. Canelo couldn’t do it. Prime Canelo would’ve stopped washed up GGG too.

At a certain point and skill level, Canelo struggles with size. Benavitez is big and powerful and has shown a come forward style and imposes himself onto his opponents and breaks them down. We saw it vs Plant in a bout where Plant boxed extremely well. Benavitez didn’t get discouraged. He believed in himself and stuck to his gameplan. And last night, Benavitez barely had to work to get the win.

Canelo will struggle greatly with someone as physically dominant as Benavitez. If we go back to Canelo from as recent as 3 or 4 yrs ago vs current Benavitez, I would pick Canelo all the way. Hard to pick anyone to beat that version of Canelo. He was on another level during that time.

But now, I pick Benavitez all the way. Current Canelo doesn’t have the gas tank to last vs someone with the size and strength of Benavidez.

It’s not an outsized Charlo coming up in weight. It’s not a fringe contender level boxer John Ryder in there. Not a way past his prime GGG. We’re talking about an in his prime beast who comes charging forward. I would actually see it play out similar to Benavitez vs Plant, with Canelo fading late much like how Plant faded late. In fact, I could see Canelo winning a robbery decision too, but Benavidez would be my pick.
Three or four years ago he wasn't fighting elite boxers in their prime, they were either past their prime like ggg, and he definitely lost the first fight, or going through the UK tour. This benavidez kid is a different type of animal, prime for prime he would have giving anyone including canelo some trouble.

Canelo probably will make excuses to not fight Benavidez like when he avoided GGG in his prime

The problem he has with benavidez is, he has never face a relentless come forward type of fighter in his prime like the Arizona kid, that might play in his favor but it is going to be a war.

Started his pit bull just a little to late in his career
That being said , he only did it cause he wasn’t getting any fights and no one was watching him
