Comments Thread For: Jamaine Ortiz: "I Don't Think Shakur Would Be a Hard Fight For Me, I'm a Whoop His Ass"

Shakur Stevenson picked up a boring, unimpressive win against Edwin De Los Santos this past Thursday night. He might have been on point defensively but offensively he was myopic and uncreative.

No one is beating Shakur cause he is running all night. Back step, Back step, back step.

Shakur is beatable, as his last fight shows. There is no Superman. How would Shakur have handled Henry Armstrong, Roberto Duran, Julio Cesar Chavez, Pernell Whitaker, Mayweather, and many others?

I truly think Jamine is a nightmare style matchup for Shakur. I would love to see that fight.

I know people are going to be less hesitant to fight Shakur now but the guys who made Shakur shut down his offense and go full Rigo hit harder than Ortiz. Ortiz isn't a bad fighter but he's more the guy who got hurt by Moran than the guy who ran Loma close. Plus making 135? Nah, Shakur beats him.

Since he has no power it makes for a perfect fight for Shakur because atleast he'll stand and trade.

You have to catch him first.

Not happening. Jamaine looked like a solid junior middleweight in his last fight. He's not making 135 again.
