Comments Thread For: Robson Conceicao: I'm Gonna Surprise Navarrete; He Has Never Fought A Fighter Like Me

Robson Conceicao conceded that Emanuel Navarrete's unusual style will be difficult to neutralize Thursday night. Would be a major statement if Navarette can stop this dude.

I don’t think he will but I see a one sided fight for Navarrete.

The way I see it, if Valdez could beat Conceicao, Navarrete will beat him also.
That said, I can't stand hearing that same old played out line, "he never fought a fighter like me"!

Robson isn't exactly wrong, Conceicao has such unorthodox style for a pro fighter. But then again, if Luis Coria managed to clip twice via knockdowns and Xavier Martinez rocked him three times despite getting dominated, I don't like his odds with Navarrete's timing.

Boxing is the theater of the unknown and anything can happen. Navarrete is a 89% favorite by the bookies.

I wouldn't be surprised if Conceicao makes this a very close fight.
