Dimitrenko vs Krasniqi Rematch Set For November 28

Palm Promotions won the purse bids for the vacant EU title fight between Lolenga Mock and Medhi Bouadla with a bid for 15 555 EUR. Itīs very likely that promoter Hans Henrik Palm stage this fight along with Mads Larsen vs Dimitri Sartison for the vacant EBU crown, also at supermiddle. Date and site for both fights are to be announced.

Don't really get the point, Krasniqi was doing pretty well but the knockout was legit and the fight wasn't going his way to the extent of it warranting a rematch. Decent comeback fight for Dimitrenko I guess.

Krasniqi vs. Dimitrenko II makes no sense, it's a step backwards for Sasha.

I'm glad to see Markussen returning to the ring. He's been absent for about 4 years now. Wonder in what shape he is.

He was losing to Krasniqi, so yeah it makes sense.

At least Dimitrenko is getting back into business. Universum waited far too long to get him back fighting again.

Neither was really dominating up to the KO. It always takes Dimitrenko a round or two to get going. But because it was a decisive KO win, there's not really much sense in having a rematch.

But as Chunk said, it's good that Dimitrenko's at least going to be fighting again.

I agree, it' a pointless fight for Dimitrenko. Plus Krasniqi is a quitter (he quit against Thompson) and a win over him doesn't mean much. I expect Dimitrenko to stop an uninspired Krasniqi within 6 rounds...

Heavyweights Aleksander Dimitrenko and Luan Krasniqi will go at it again November 28 in Oberhausen. Dimitrenko seemed to be on his way to an upset loss last year when he took out Luan with a left hook to the liver
LOL @ this article. The fight hadn't even gone three rounds before the KO, so it's laughable that observers would think Dimitrenko was on his way to a loss...

Another example of biased news stories on boxingscene; obviously a promoter wrote this story not a journalist (not that I have anything against promoters)...

Luan was doing pretty good in that fight... If he doesnt` take another body shot he might win...

I don`t really like Dmitrenko as Ukraine`s representative... Big, clumsy, mess... Same as Valuev for Russia...
