Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu On Battling Brian Mendoza: I Think This Is [My] Toughest Challenge To Date

By Keith Idec - Tim Tszyu is heavily favored to beat Brian Mendoza on Sunday afternoon in their fight for Tszyu's WBO junior middleweight title. The surging Australian still considers his hard-hitting American challenger the most imposing opponent he has agreed to fight since Tszyu (23-0, 17 KOs) made his pro debut in December 2016. Tony Harrison is the most accomplished

interesting fight will be watching it to see what happens -- now Rose' he never reached his full potential i watched him begin to develop but never got to where he could have for reasons that elude me. (W-Mendo) Harrison similar in that he showed his true self at that time in the ring. (W-Tsyz) That said well the tower he had faults but still was a bit of a puzzel to pick apart and Mendo did make things happen in the ring and took advantage of what was there for him. (W-Mendo) Now it will be nice to see how Tsyz behaves in the ring he is still developing as a fighter as is Mendo Lotta questions should be answered in the ring hopefully who is the winner will be answered not some ****** choice by a ref or some elbow headbutt type situation and please no cards this weekend take care of bussiness boys and i believe they both will.

      Tszyu gets hit.

Mendoza is the hardest puncher he's faced so far.

Too late to worry about that now. Sue knows he's been in soft. Nobody on Brian's level, but Mendoza has fought better than Tim.

Well if Tim cant handle Mendoza easy he has no hope with Charlo TC etc, I think his speed will be too much for Brian.

momentary lapse of reason can cause things to happen in the ring ---- the reason i say that is bc they both are at the point where they have to show improvement with there skills at this point-- they have got the attention of fans and now they have to display and show it off -- it is a decent Sat nite fight. Not Duran v Lenard I but something to keep an eye on...

Tszyu has got a good head on his shoulders...he looks at things very realistically and with insight. His activity rate and pressure are his strengths.
