this is amazing for women's boxing. I am happy that she is advocating for this to happen. it is high time that 12 3 min round be implemented in women's boxing.
Personally I don't like to see women fight , but I suppose for the one's that do, and there are some completive bouts then three minutes must be the way forward. We all see that women want to be on an even keel but in tennis for instance they get the same prize money as men for playing less sets ? I struggle to see the sense in this as 'equal' .Women's boxing has moved on tremendously in recent times but it is still light years behind and I supposed this will settle the women from the girls ....or something like that.
Ramos has no punching power, and unless she has a chin like Jake LaMotta, Serrano should knockout Ramos without to much trouble.
I would definitely love to see Serrano start knocking out her opponents, and against the best rated women fighters in her division.
