Canelo knows that he didn't fight a real opponent. If he fights David Benavidez and wins then he will get his rightful respect in the boxing world. Until then, he is a Julio Cesar Chavez wannabe. To me Canelo is more media hype than anything else. He totally forgot his beating from Bivol two fights ago.

Pretty much a test to see how his other inactive brother handles moving up

They didn't release the full statement from charlo:
"Truthfully, I Could Feel The Difference in The Weight... the weight of that fat paycheck.
And if I fought like I had some guts, I wouldn't have had a brain left to enjoy that fat paycheck."

He did something to win. He sign the contract and survive to win a pay check.

I think the DOJ needs to investigate who allowed this fraud. What commission thought this was a good idea?

Fans, there are even fans who want Crawford vs Canelo.

They eve allowed TBE vs a UFC guy.
They allowed the Heavyweight Champ of the World vs MMA guy with female name Francis.
