He can't beat Dmitry Bivol. Why is he scared to fight David Benavidez? There's no way he'll win another world title at 175 pounds. His best days are clearly behind him.

Canelo, why don't have that same energy for Benavidez? He's been calling u out for years. So why not prove to him why ur one of the best? Same for Andrade, he doesn't believe in ur skills either, so why don't u wanna prove it him? Oh my bad, I forgot - because Andrade is "a horrible fighter". U wanna prove a point to a 154 pounder moving up, but not to people in ur own weight class? This is why ur never going to be loved by Mexico like Chavez Sr, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, and other past greats

In other words “I recall in 2016 you wanted to fight me when we were in the same weight class. Now that I am backed into a corner and have no desire to face Benavidez, am currently 2 weight classes above you, see that you’re also coming off an injury and an extended layoff, I have suddenly decided that I was highly offended by your call out 7 years ago and must accept your challenge without any further hesitation”.

I think Charlo accepted The Canelo Challenge that was offer to him. Plus Charlo was backed into Tim Tszyu corner as well. The battle of the duckers, Undisputed Duckers.

If Benavidez beats Canelo now, we all know he didn't beat the best Canelo. People will still not give Benavidez credit, so I really don't see a point other than passing the torch. Similar to De La Hoya and Chavez Sr. Yes, it's a big fight, old dog vs young dog.
Benavidez is now PPV star, he can fight Andrade, Morell, Mungia.

People assume Benavidez beats Canelo but I don't think so. Hopefully that fight is coming soon. Let's see what Charlo can do first.

ok, difference is, no one in history is turning down canelo to face 0 time world champ Tyszu for less money. Canelo turned down more money to face someone in his weight class who never lost a title that canelo walks around with. Nobody rates Tyszu over canelo as a threat for charlo, everyone rates Benavidez over charlo as a threat for canelo.

Benavidez should pull up ringside at this fight.
