What happened to all the big fights that we were going to have the second half of the year. This year started out great and is ending on a down note.

I was reading an article about the Orioles winning their 100th game of the season, and one of the pitchers was 13-5, wins and loses. It made me think about how there are no "undefeated" pitchers; everyone takes an L

You look at the boxers mentioned in this article, and there's a lot of 0's..

The talent doesn't warrant the record. The commissions from each state need to become stricter on who people can fight. Like Mayweather deserved to be 20-0, 30-0. But because he was the most financially successful boxer, everyone is frying to copy his formula.

Only Rocky and Floyd retired with no losses or draws. Two boxers.. in the 100+ years or recorded boxing history. Stop trying to be undefeated, and learn how to overcome your defeats.

I miss friday night fights, sometimes they had pretty good cards, at least you got to see some fighters that you would not see on a bigger platform. Here in Canada you are lucky to see a fight on tv every 3 months.

We're still getting Benavidez vs. Andrade, Haney vs, Prograis, Matias vs. Ergashev, and hopefully Crawford vs. Spence II, and Joshua vs. Wilder or Zhang, before the end of they year! That would be a great way to wrap up 2023!

I miss them too. I used to watch the Tuesday night fights on USA network with my dad before and after my time in the Army , then we would catch the Frjday Night Fights , and on Saturday there would be an HBO or Showtime fight. Those were the days. A lot of good fighters came up through those platforms , lots of great fights too. Remember the Blue Horizon ? The Blue had some wars ! I remember the scraps with Ouellet versus Hilton in Canada too. Those two really hated each other. It's a shame how Hilton ended up. He went to jail for ***ually abusing his daughters. It's unfortunate that he lived to see the cell.

Teofimo blew the opportunity to fight again after the Heisman Trophy presentation. That’s a good window to get viewers.
