  • Comments Thread For: Raymond Muratalla: "I Don't See Myself Losing To Any Of Those 135 Pounders"

There's a quiet confidence that Raymond Muratalla has. Well, after his recent comments, maybe it isn't so quiet. The 26-year-old lightweight contender struts around the division like he owns the place. His recent performances, however, gives him the right to feel that way.

It’s interesting, Shakur calls out just about everyone, except this would be the easiest one to make and we haven’t really heard that callout yet. Muratalla must be good.

How about calling out Keyshawn Davis doe? There's also Jamaine Ortiz, Valdez for stay-busy fights. There's also Navarette, or that Aussie who gave Emmanuel hell.

Lots of in-house fights for you brother.

Elie ballsack kept praising this guy saying he was the next big great fighter and to look out for him. And the first fight I see of him he gets dropped by a unknown bum smh

Looks like Raymond Muratalla's fight against Torres is rescheduled in the undercard of Robeisy Ramirez vs Rafael Espinoza on November 4. It's a solid fight but it would be nice if he fought against another opponent now that he is entering the top 10 rankings.

            He is now:

Ranked in 9th place in WBC
Ranked in 11th place in IBF
Ranked in 9th place in WBO

I think the only way he gets an opportunity for a title is if he fights a high-profile name like George Kambosos if he doesn't want to get discarded so easily.

Lots of talent in the division, not enough matches between them.

Only Keyshawn boxes at 135. Valdez, Navarrete, and the Aussie are at 130. Ortiz is a 140 pounder now.

Kambosos would be a good match up for Murutalla.

Like the guy who gave Shakur his toughest fight and Murutalla destroyed in 2 rounds, Nakathila.
