But the question is, how could Cotto hit Pac solid when the fact Pac is so fast! The same problem of ODLH and Hatton when facing him. Second, people only talking about Cotto's power punch, but forgot to ponder how disastrous Pac carried his punching power at 145lbs, and if Cotto hit solid by Pac, esp. with his left, how Cotto would react?
I'm not even a Cotto fan and there is no way I would compare
Oscar/Hatton to Cotto. Cotto is a live dog and is a decent
boxer with power to hurt and stun guys his size or smaller.
Pac is not going to run over Cotto I believe. When I think
of this fight, I think of how Cotto pressured Zab and wore
him out and cut off the ring. This fight should be great but
I just think Cotto will hurt Pac. Pac has a chance especially
since he has Roach in his corner but am leaning towards the
bigger a good skilled Cotto rather than just thinking he will
    win because he is bigger.

As trainer to JMM, what do you expect him to tell JMM chances against PBF? He probably knows that JMM have a slim chance to win against PBF esp. PBF paid his way out for sure win! But you won't expect him to tell, "hey listen!, JMM will lose the fight although he plan to give PBF a good fight, he just want a cash out a good payment!"

Now that he is standing in an unbiased ground, he will tell who he know would win based on his analytical predictons and of long experiences in boxing!

He's been hit with big shots. Pac will hit him for sure but I'm not too
sure that Manny can hit and run in/out against Cotto for 12 rds.
Cotto's been tested by heavy hitters, Manny hasn't, the question
is, can Manny take a Cotto flush power shot?
but i doubt if cotto will just walk through pac's punches, just like most peolpe here keep on saying. cotto's been hurt by a smaller man before. just look at the torres fight. even though its at 140lbs, cotto was hurt like 3 times which shows that he doesn't have a great chin either. pac's small but he's got a power punch that i think can hurt a legit WW.

Oscar De La Hoya, TRUST. Manny doesn't even have the
style to beat Floyd. Manny and Marquez is the type of
guys that are very good/great against guys they size
up well with but Floyd and Cotto are the best the WW
division has right now and I don't see any lil very good
            guys dominating them.
Pac has a chance but only if
Cotto doesn't have an answer for Manny's speed but
I think Cotto has a good amount of speed and ring pressure
to cut Pac momentum off. Cotto just has to display a
lil defense because he is prone to getting caught flush
but homie can take a big punch and to me, Pac aint a
big puncher. Manny is going to catch Cotto but Cotto's
durability and power may overwhelm Manny.

exactly. because marquez & pacquiao have the same exact style & they have the same exact speed, power, & athleticism.

Guns dont kill people. People kill people. Size dont win fights, fighters win fights.

You mean beat Pacquiao with a significant advantage in size?

Nacho's right...in a way, Pacquiao's become a much better fighter. But still, Cotto's a REAL top tier welterweight. This fight isn't gonna be a walk in the park. Although i do think that PAc's speed could really mess with Cotto, i don't see how he's gonna handle it when Cotto lands a big left or right...this ain't Ricky Hatton or a drained DLH...

I'm not saying Cotto will smash Pacquiao or vice versa, but damn is this fight gonna be tough. Just can't see it going one sided...either way.

Cotto is not just a bigger guy, like Oscar and Hatton was against
Pac but he's a stronger, durable, better skilled guy and YES he has been hurt against guys before but since Torres and Corley he has been a lil more durable. The way to stop Cotto is either defense or pressure or a combination of both. Cotto has dealt with speed before and has had success. I believe if Cotto is careless he could possibly get hurt bad but I think he knows what's at stake here. The fight will be a good one but it will
                      not go to 12 rounds.
