NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez says he's ready to revive his career and rebound after suffering his first professional loss against Dmitry Bivol last year and blowing weight a day before his canceled return bout against Gabriel Rosado in March.

Not with his current coach, or lack thereof.

It's hard to take anything Zurdo says seriously after he said he thought he won the Bivol fight.

Crossroads 50/50 fight, one has more volume, the other more power, both can be hit. Should be a good one with some excitement the whole way.

Buy the way he talks, he seems lazy. He needs more cajones. He is not the type that will lay all on the line.

If you can't possibly make 175 why tf aren't you fighting at 200?

I hope JSJr. knocks Turdo tf out of the ring. Get this clown out of here. He's dumber than a bag of hammers and he's another ODLH puppet.

Zurdo's padded record came crashing down after the sound thrashing by Bivol and getting no support from the twelve year old girl coaching him from his corner. Smith wobbled Bivol with that overhand right; I don't see Zurdo having the heart or will to win if Joe does the same to him. We'll see.

Still should be Zurdo vs Canelo for the Bivol losers bracket.

After having his head handed to him by Bivol, Ramirez humiliated himself by not even coming close to his contract weight for his next scheduled fight against Rosado. The question needs to be asked … why didn’t Zurdo’s trainer and/or his manager know about his grossly overweight condition? And, if they did know about it, why on earth didn’t they pull the plug earlier. Another case of the blind leading the blind.
