Team Crawford doesn’t want the rematch because they know there is no appetite for it. The first was way too one sided to merit a rematch. Crawford only has a few more fights before retirement.

OK, so Crawford needs paperwork? Spence needs to get that to him ASAP, or just continue his career at 154! On the bright side, maybe Crawford is considering staying at 147 to fight Boots Ennis? I would much rather see that, than Spence vs. Crawford II @ 147!

It's not like Crawford is specifying which weight class the rematch will take place at, he's just outlining the specifics of the contract.

While Crawford should be the shot caller at this point, if he wants the rematch, I'm sure that he'll do what he can to make this fight happen.

Bud's doing Spence a favor here. Spence's long term health is on the line. He took an absolute beating and sounded concussed (even more so than usual) in the post fight interview.

I dunno man.. ES just wasn't at the races & he doesn't sound good. All fighters suffer CTE to some degree but when it's so apparent in speech then how much is it affecting your decision making & processing speed? I bet on TC & was pretty confident he'd win, but I really didn't expect it to be so one-sided. I'd be happy if Errol retired to spend time with his family & kids.

I think Errol Spence should avoid fighting Bud Crawford. He will only suffer another terrible beatdown. I am not a physician, but I have seen brain damaged boxer up close. It is not a pretty sight. Errol is exhibiting the same early signs that they did.

Did you ever seen pac or Floyd get dictated on the weight they should fight against the b class or someone they badly beat ?

if this was pac or Floyd and they rematched spence, both would fight him at 147 again as they are the a side and they have nothing to gain but everything to lose

bud should keep this at 147, he beat spence in a one sided beat down that people will remembers for years to come

Bud stays at 147 and will definitely have to fight Boots.Its starting to sound like Crawford knows something about the weight issues against Spence,after all Spence fought in one weight class his whole entire career whereas Crawford fought in 3 weight classes.
