Canelo vs ggg 2 wasn’t close 116-112 Cinnabon I was pulling for ggg too and felt he nicked the 1st fight

That’s my point, the thing that separates Canelo’s resume from tigers is that he got the chance to fight a bunch of great but past prime fighters. Take away Mosley, Mayweather, Cotto, Ggg x3 and Kovalev from his resume (who were all between 35-40 when he faced them) , you’re left with a barely above average list of opposition faced.

        nope. 7-5 GGG

GGG boxed beautifully off the backfoot and beat Canelo. outlanding him. also rocked him in the 10th

It would help you kids to actually watch the fight to know what you're talking about.
          Here's the fight:

Vast majority of it was spent in the center of the ring by both men. The fight was universally applauded as high octane affair at the highest level of the sport.
At 50:25 mark, they ask one of the announcers, what his unofficial scorecard is, to which he replies 115-113 Gennadiy Golovkin. The other 2 announcers, disagree saying they have it 7-5 Canelo.

That fight was very close, nobody ran, nobody got ruined. Every time folks try to rewrite the narrative as if Canelo dominated the fight, they just lose credibility and show themselves to be biased fanboys.

You believe taking half steps back and controlling the distance with your jab, is running? No, what Canelo did in the first fight is running.

Most people had Golovkin winning the second fight as they actually know how to score a fight properly. Golovkin will always been seen by those that matter as having beat Canelo twice. The third fight meant nothing as Canelo had waited until he was now 40 and shot to face him again. This after ducking him for years before the other two fights to age him out but he still ended up losing both. Canelo just wanted to make extra sure before fighting him again that he was in fact, shot.

You think pointing out the corruption involved with stealing Golovkin's deserved wins against Canelo is hating? How sad. Canelo deserves every inch of the criticism he gets.

Canelo also never hid behind promoters and networks. He bounced around to make fights happen. From GBP, to DAZN, to PBC. He’s a fighter that makes other fighters look bad, those fighters that hide behind promoters and networks for years, then come out when the coast is clear. When everyone is past their best.

The only fight left for him, which i’m disappointed it wasn’t next after GGG III, is Benavidez.

Crawford on the other hand, hid behind Top Rank/ESPN, fighting bums for years, missing out on top fights because he kept resigning to TR.
How you could write this and cast it off as fact is sickening. Canelo never looked for challengers. He looked for opponents at their weakest before taking them on. Just look at his career and the time he took those fights. Look at the mass of conditions they're fought under. Anyone who is threatening, he runs away from them. He does the complete opposite to what you're saying.

And look what happened in these fights. He lost to Bivol, Mayweather and Lara. But he drained Jacobs with a secret contract and made him sign a contract that he wouldn't talk about it otherwise he'd be sued. Trout was nothing more than a decent fringe level fighter. I really don't know how people could put his name forward and think anyone would consider it such a leap of faith or something. Canelo should have been fighting the likes of Trout and much better at that point in his career.

Add in his loss to bivol who is great and I’d consider lara also a great fighter along with mayweather their resumes aren’t comparable. It’s not even close.
Mosley and Kovalev were shot to pieces. There was absolutely nothing great about either win. Kovalev was drained by contract too to make it extra worthless.

Cotto didn't mean anything either. Cotto was way past his best and hadn't beaten a world class fighter for many years. It would be like giving Crawford credit for Khan and Brook.
