Comments Thread For: Jesus Ramos: Lubin Is Risking A Lot; I've Gotta Give Him My Respect; He Fights Anybody

Jesus Ramos realizes that some experienced contenders in Erickson Lubin's position would not have agreed to fight him. The powerful southpaw has beaten Brian Mendoza, who viciously knocked out Sebastian Fundora, an opponent who beat Lubin in one of the most fantastic action fights of 2022. Ramos dominated previously unbeaten Joey Spencer in his last fight and stopped spoiler Vladimir Hernandez in the sixth round two bouts before he opposed Spencer.

they are selling the main event by showing off the undercard not a bad idea at all. looking forward to seeing this fight and what directions it goes in. fight has a good chance of turning into something special. too bad as soon as a good match up occurs they want to throw in on a PPV but that is a story for another day.

What Ramos is saying is not many established fighters are willing to fight 2nd, 3rd-tier fighters. They'd rather lose to a fellow established one than a level below. How many established guys in the division would fight a towering inferno like Fundora? Fundora was Tony Harrison's mandatory, but look at what happened. He jumped at the opportunity of taking the Tzsyu fight when the Charlo fight was postponed. He essentially escaped the Sebastian fight.

Lubin took the Fundora fight and he paid for it.

Ramos is Huge for the weight. He must rehydrate to LHW he looks so big. Props to Lubin for taking the fight, it may cost him taking all the smoke. Imo, he's a talented guy..I'm just hoping he's getting paid for the risk hes taking against yet another undefeated fighter. I believe he has the talent to win a title in a division without Charlo. This will be a foty contender. Can't miss action fight.
