New weight, same result for Mikaela Mayer. The former unified IBF/WBO junior lightweight champion picked up her second win of the year in a ten-round, unanimous decision over Italy's Silvia Bortot. Mayer won 100-90 on the lone scorecard turned in by referee Steve Gray during their bout just above the junior welterweight limit Saturday at AO Arena in Manchester, England.

Quite unimpressive. Her opponents last 4 opponents had over 100 losses. She already lost to the juicing Baumgardner who we now know to be a cheater. The ladies welterweight division is loaded and by far the most interesting division in womens boxing. Mayer will be in the mix because she has a big mouth but hasn’t backed it up especially after losing to a small Baumgardner, who may or may not have been clean. There was no PED testing for that fight so I bet Baumgardner was on the ****, but managed not to get caught.
