Subriel Matias and Shohjahon Ergashev can now move forward with their long-ago ordered clash. TGB Promotions--on behalf of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC)--secured promotional rights to the mandatory IBF junior welterweight title fight with a $510,000 offer during Tuesday's purse bid hearing. The amount surpassed that of Salita Promotions, Ergashev's promoter who posted $225,000 in an effort to land the attractive matchup.

This fight looks really good on paper and more than likely it will live up to its expectation. Too bad those two are going to duke it out hard for not too much money after all of their deductions.

Ergashev might end up with $50K at best when its done but he'll have a shiny belt if he wins and sanctioning fees to go with.

That is what you hope with these guys. That a win brings in more money.

How did someone like GRJ get over 1M for fights and these guys can't? he just had a title he baby sat and fought unheralded mandatory opponents until he lost.

Man that is an ace question! Lower weight to at that. And this guys is PR? For a world title in a good division, kind of nonsense

Neither fighter commands much money, especially Ergashev. Matias HAS to fight him or drop the title. It's gonna be a good one.

MISTER Gary Russell Jr. knew how to sell fights with his mouth. That's how it works in the BUSINESS of boxing.
