With respect to the big man, but I think he mostly saw a huge future deposit in his bank account.

He gets that even if he gets ko'd swiftly and doesn't last ten rounds or so like McGregor did with Floyd. I'm sure Fury could 'carry' Ngannou for a few rounds, as Floyd probably did with Conor.

Anytime it is a boxer fighting an MMA guy I go for the boxer because that is my sport. Like many other parts of the business, I think Mayweather hurt boxing by not going for destruction. Apparently this dude hits really hard and anything could happen in the ring. That coupled with the fact that a complete annihilation could really pump the brakes on all this dumb crossover stuff means that the absolute best thing that could happen is fury not carrying him even for one second

Some MMA dudes are powerful punchers but they are not in there with actual boxers. This guy is 36 years old and is in it purely for the payday. I can't blame him but taking on Fury in your first boxing match is a recipe for disaster. The only way that this charade goes long is if Fury carries him. Let's hope not.
