Indeed, good on both for making the fight. I personally thought it would have been smarter for Benavidez to fight Morrell, but Andrade is one of the biggest fights for him, and potentially one of the more dangerous. I think whichever one is able to impose their style will likely win, but I don't expect it to be particularly close. If Andrade is going to win, it's going to be by fighting his way and making Benavidez look bad. If he can't keep Benavidez off him, he's going to get swarmed and battered just like Plant. I can't help but think that it is a big step up in competition for Andrade though.
I'm not sure that Benavidez merits the Boogeyman designation though. There's plenty of people who think that 168 isn't a very good division. When Edgar Berlanga and Munguía are considered top guys and future champions in the division, it feels pretty weak, as much as I don't like the notion of crapping all over it to put Canelo down. I grant it's stronger than the wasteland that is 160 right now, but I don't know that it's the greatest. Benavidez' primary name on his resume is a Canelo leftover in Plant, along with washed middleweight Lemieux and Dirrell. Not sure that's really Boogeyman territory. The Boogeymen near 168 are the 175 champions, IMO.
