Good fight if it happens. Any combination of those three fighters would produce a good fight.

I thought this fight was dead in the water? Glad to know it's not because I think Ergashev is better than Lipinets, at this point!

Sources: Subriel Matias, Sergey Lipinets agree to Aug. 26 bout

Ergashev is probably better than Lipinets, but like I said before Matias should fight Lipinets first.
Then have a quick turn around fight against Ergashev, just so he's not out of the ring to long.
Right after that he can go after Taylor, Prograis, Russel, or Haney, then we'll know exactly how good Matias really is.

Exactly! He needs to stay active in order to remain sharp, for his more challenging future opponent's.

Staying busy is one thing, shooting fish in a barrel is another. It's not only a waste of time, it dulls the urgency. Knocking out nobody's isn't good for a contender. Less than sparring.

Ergashev has been out of the ring since August 2022! The time is NOW!

Who's fault is that, his promotional team has to keep him active, I don't think that Ergashev would be ready to step in August 26, 2023, Lipinets is.
So Matias has got to keep his career moving, not waiting on any particular opponent to be ready to step in to face him.

Well it looks like you're going to get your wish, because the IBF want's Matias to defend against Ergashev next.
That fight is going to be one hell of a fight, when these two fighters go at it the near future.
Ergashev will be the fifth undefeated fighter that Matias, will have faced in his boxing career.
