Self-awareness is not a common trait among professional athletes. Particularly boxers. Nearly every gym rat worth his hand wraps believes he belongs on a higher level than he's reached or insists he's got one more good night left in him long after all signs of title contention have faded.

This guy got a longer interview and write up than more well known fighters usually get on here.

Good read. Never heard of the guy. However; I can appreciate boxing scene shedding light on this man’s story. The majority of professional boxers don’t have careers half as successful as this dude. Good to see this man has his faculties intact, and is still contributing to this sport, and providing for his family. To post negativity about this man’s story is to admit that you are a Bum and don’t know shyt about boxing.

"Who is he ?" -- maybe that is the point of the write up................. more important just a slice of the ring life looked at and into someone who may not have been a big name in boxing circles. Just a guess there. Rather see more articles along those lines showing up then repeated promo pieces disguesded as a "story" about a fighter we all have an opinion on such as Josh or Saul or So-Sure or the like. Who needs more regergatated hype and bait to start a useless conversation about who likes which fighter more.

Maybe because even if they speak proper English, they spend the entire interview crafting their image and selling the same hackneyed narratives that it all comes out vapid and sounding the same.
