Comments Thread For: Jake Paul Eyeing World Title, Says Fury Loss Made Him Even Bigger & Better For Diaz

Jake Paul's first professional defeat to Tommy Fury in February isn't stopping him from focusing on the larger plan at hand. Ahead of his fight Saturday night against Nate Diaz at the American Airlines Center, Paul proclaimed that he wants to position himself for a pending world title run.

Well he pulls numbers or at least he used to so i'm sure champions would be willing to fight him but realistically he's never making 75 and both champions would play with him if he could.

And at 200 it's certainly not a better prospect for him he's food, it's a cute dream for him but it's unattainable, unless the WBC make some kind of youtuber "world title" or a new division (185) when him and KSI fight which I can imagine (sadly)...

He cant beat D level Tommy Fury but he is still talking about world titles. He will be 27 by his next fight. Hes been boxing for 5 years now. Guys have won olympic medals in half that time. Hes going to continue to milk this sport for attention and money and make a mockery of it. A world title is out of the question. Hell even a win over an actual boxer under 30 his own weight that isnt weight drained, is very unlikely, he cant even beat D level.

Who is Jake impressing by fighting washed-up non-boxers?

I’d pay to watch him fight Bivol or Beterbiev to be fair

He's too big for 175 and to small for 200. ( not good enough either ) his only chance is if they make a new division at 185 in 3 years when he'll hopefully be decent enough to beat a C+/B- level fighter for the "belt"

Better not laugh at this guy--he will somehow find a champion who is sick or old and maybe even beat him. What Jake is good at is promoting and making $$ so many boxers are now paying attention.

This is funny. He has had one boxing fight against a naturally lighter guy who can't punch and he lost but somehow he is going to be a world champion by beating lighter past-their-best guys from a different sport?

Don't be fooled guys Diaz is 38 and weighed 170lbs for his last MMA fight. Paul's natural fighting weight is 190lbs+ Jake Paul will KO him easy.

Is this freak with bad hair still getting attention? I don’t understand why. It does not compute in my head how the thinking happens in this fellahs noggin.
he has money generated from children watching his YouTube channel, is that right? Got mega rich from it? Let me guess, Americans.
there you have it, it’s laughable, probably either a friend of Donald rump or running for president. That’s how facked up that place is.
