I think this might be the most validating win ever for REAL boxing fans.

Haymonites did everything they could to slander this man including something that you should never do to a Black man unless you have a good reason in questioning the man's Blackness just because he wouldn't let Haymon "advise" him.

They blackballed him, froze him out, slandered him, lowballed him in offers.

I truly enjoyed every minute of this asswhooping, not just for Spence, but for all the PBC/Haymon fanboys who spent 5 years slandering Bud & everybody associated with him.

Not taking anything away from Crawford, he was all business and got it done Like many, I thought Crawford would edgfe it but in a close fight.. But the domination and how Spence looked and sounded had me scratching my head as Spence didn't look well. All the 50-50 talk pre-fight assumed Spence was the same as before the car accident, but whar we saw in the fight was that Spence was a shadow of what he was.

Spence beat Garcia and Ugas for a belt after the car wreck.

He tried very hard against Bud. He looked good and moved well. He was throwing his normal shots, being physical with Bud, looked strong. The fight changed when Bud hit him with a flush jab. Spence looked immediately tentative. Then the knockdown, which had never happened to him. He was never the same because he did not know what to do. Bud's power is wicked. That was the difference for Spence, he'd barely ever been hurt in the ring. He freaked out and had no answer.

If the rematch happens, Spence will attempt to outbox Bud from the outside, 100%. He thought he could overpower Bud and paid for it.

He looked good against Ugas and Garcia. To say "he isn't the same" isn't because he has lost it....if he had, Garcia would have exposed it. And he would have lost to Ugas.

Bud makes good fighters look bad. Has been doing it for years.

meh big drained fish, spence has always been over rated..what boxing skills does he have? He had his jab and once crawford took that away the fight was over, that's what crawford himself said after the fight. Boxing in general is weak, some middleweight (usyk) is ruling the HW division, and then this fight..what a circus show.

We both know deep down that Spence was the one who made this fight happen. Crawford been begging for this fight for so long because it's his only payday and ran out of Spence leftovers to beat up on. There’s a reason his own promoter dumped him and he had to file a frivolous lawsuit lol.

A few people, including myself, have been saying for a few years that Bud was a throwback fighter with all timer power and skill. And also saying that he would beat Spence rather easily. It feels good to see Bud finally get the recognition. After every one of his fights over the past few years, I just shook my head and said, how can people not see that this dude is incredible? He has ko power in both hands, the highest ring IQ of any boxer in the era, he is a world class finisher.

He's never had a rival to test him, and as many thought it would be Spence, he is a far better fighter than Spence ever was. I don't think anyone survives 12 rounds with him at 147 or 154. He almost certainly retires undefeated and as P4P #1, a first ballot HOF and a top 20 all timer.

A little premature for all that. You think he’d beat de le Hoya and trinidad? This era is shallow but I agree he’s the best of the bunch.

See. We're not crazy. This was exactly it. Been saying it over and over again. You could clearly see his talent, but I needed to see it vs the top tier guys.
