  • Comments Thread For: Shakur Stevenson: "If Me and Lomachenko Fight, I'm a Wash Him"

Beating Vasiliy Lomachenko doesn't hold as much weight as it once did. The superlatives used to describe his skills were well documented even before he gained national attention. As an amateur, the Ukrainian native racked up 396 wins against just one defeat, something he avenged several times over. In the pros, Lomachenko has been praised for his ubiquitous offense and magical defense, earning the nickname "The Matrix."

"According to the 26-year-old, fighters such as Isaac Cruz, George Kambosos Jr., and William Zepeda turned the other way when team Stevenson approached them with a fight offer."

It's not just "according to the 26 year old..." The WBC went down the list and those fighters didn't want no smoke! I just hope Devin Haney accepts the challenge, or we get Lomachenko! George Kambosos is TRASH!

This guy's ego is out of this world. Based on beating Valdez and some unknown japanese fighter? C'mon. If anything he's a tremendous weight bully but hopefully Lomachenko can tech him a thing or two.

While I believe Stevenson can beat Loma, Loma can be very crafty on a good night. It may not be as easy as Shakur believes........and then again, maybe it will. Stevenson is very good in the ring - athletic, sharp, stronger than his KO ratio shows, and he has a high boxing IQ.

Too - Sure is just being a child right now, there are other fights going on and he feels he is not getting enough attention so he rants a bit. Means nothing just attention tantrum is all.

Dude. Loma is 36. His style is based on speed and timing. As much as I like Loma I want him to hang 'em up. Father time waits for no man.

I don't want Shakur to even get a shot at having Loma's name on his record. How do you say you're the best and call out a fighter 10 yrs. your senior???

So you believe Haney won that fight, and that Haney is a superior opponent than Lomachenko?

No fighter would wash loma even at 36.

The problem with Loma is that he fights the fighter on the other corner plus the judges,
