Comments Thread For: Stephen Fulton: Everyone Underestimates My Power; Inoue Will Feel The Power

Stephen Fulton feels he will gain Naoya Inoue's respect relatively early in their fight Tuesday night. The WBC/WBO 122-pound champion has won only 38 percent of his professional bouts by knockout, yet Philadelphia's Fulton thinks his power is underrated based on his low knockout ratio by those that haven't been hit by him. I don’t think his power underestimated, Fulton doesnt sit down on his punches. He sticks and moves. 21 wins only 8 KO tells the story.

Strangely his advantages with size maybe a non factor due to his lack of punching prowess.

All professional boxers can punch much harder than the average man, it’s all about who is taking said punches

no one has walked through Fulton, so he punches hard enough to win a fight

Inoue will feel the power in what will feel like popping half a handful of MnMs. If Fulton wants to try and stand his ground at any point, he will pay dearly.

What good is size advantage when his style isn't to physically impose himself? Maybe he can take the punch of Inoue a little better but still get seriously hurt.

These face-offs! I've seen shoves, slaps, attempted punches, spitting.

I've never seen anyone just blow their exhalation into their opponents face. For added affect I recommend eating a 4 garlic gloves 5 minutes before the weigh-in.

Inoue my guy but I really like Fulton a lot. That’s what I was saying about Fulton’s punching power. Fulton has some pop but not sure if that will keep Inoue off.

Now If Fulton can take Inoue power that’s a whole other story and I see Fulton winning. Fulton ring generalship is fantastic. He’s a great all around boxer.

Don't know about fulton but I'm not buying the whole 'monster power' talk from inoue, a strong gust of wind could have knocked down some of his opponents, a strong black American fighter wont go down like them bums inoue has been beating

This is a very good fight and I give Inoue his props for daring to be great. I'm rooting for Inoue.

Not sure why anyone doubted the Monster lol! As easy as I expected it to be for Inoue.
