    Shakur Stevenson is done waiting around for his chance to become a three-division champion. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Stevenson's team has formally contacted the World Boxing Council (WBC) to call for a mandatory title fight versus undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney and with the possibility of an even purse split. Newark's Stevenson is the WBC mandatory challenger and has attempted to negotiate such a fight in good faith but has already reached a point where the sanctioning body will have to intervene.

              Haney doesn't want to fight Shakur, he wouldn't be asking 75% if he did, its an easy way out to say sure but I want 75%, its just spinning the wheels.

                  This is just name dropping, but it adds to the pressure. Haney is looking to move up, fight Rooroo. Shakur probably wants all the money anyway. A big cut for sure. That leaves Tank

                      Haney has had a serious go of it against top competition lately at a weight he is having a ton of work to stay at. Stevenson, in the best of circumstances, is a mega-challenge. I will stop short of saying Haney will not fight Stevenson, but there is very little doubt he is not excited about fighting him next.

                          Haney will leave the division with his tail between his legs rather than fight a rematch with Loma or a fight with Stevenson.Even his mouthy dad has gone quite.

                              This is just for show. Asking for a even split shows they are not serious never are they getting 50-50. If so confident accept the 25 and get a shot at ALL the belts

                                      I agree means he is reasonable and wants the fight, even 55/45 is fair he has the belts, but 75 that's just an exit sign.
