Comments Thread For: Abdullah Mason Drops, Stops Alex de Oliveira In 2nd Round On Anderson-Martin ESPN Undercard

Abdullah Mason made the most of his primetime debut. The blue-chip lightweight prospect made quick work of Alex de Oliveira, whom he stopped in the second round of their ESPN-televised swing bout. Mason floored the visiting Brazilian to produce the end of the contest at 2:18 of round two Saturday from Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.

One of the worst mismatches in ESPN in years. Opponent had not won a fight in 10 years and lost his last 3.

I like how Bradley cleared defended Mason for punching the dude when he was clearly down. I'm not saying Mason wasn't going to win he couldn't miss with the left but that was definitely the reason the guy couldn't even get back up and Mason should've been counted for a knockdown as well, his glove touched the canvas.
