Comments Thread For: Dmitry Bivol Down To Fight David Benavidez But Only After Capturing More Titles

Not too long ago, both David Benavidez and Dmitry Bivol strapped on their headgears, threw on some 16-ounce gloves, locked the gym doors, boarded up the windows, and waged an all-out sparring war. What happened behind those closed doors has remained a secret but Benavidez has admitted on countless occasions that a showdown between them is one that will eventually happen.

Great Matchup for sure! Bivol will outperform DB as he is the much better skilled guy!

Bivol starting to sounds bit desperate to get himself into a big profile fight even if that means to drain himself down, im not sure whats his current contractual situation with Dazn but wouldn't be surprised if Pbc offers him a 2 fight deal in near future. We'll see.

As far as possible Bivol- Benavidez scrap, the russian would box the sht out of David for sure...id still watch tho.

Sometimes these guys are asked questions and are just giving their opinion. Not necessarily desperate, just saying "sure I'd be willing to fight xyz if the opportunity came up". Also David is a pretty big guy, he might want to challenge Bivol for his 175 title.

I hope it takes place at 175, DB does meet all physical criteria to compete 7 pounds north.

Bivol should've tried to get the rematch at 175 and stfu. 168 lbs was Canelo's big back up plan in case he'd have been beaten by Bivol again in rematch at 175. Bivol got greedy and wanted the rematch at 168 to try "to steal" Canelo's last big bargain chip but Bivol lost the opportunities.
