NEW YORK - Edgar Berlanga could not have felt better about his choice in a new promoter than in the moments that immediately followed his latest win. The unbeaten super middleweight contender was on the search for a new promoter after he parted ways with Top Rank

I don’t usually agree with Oscar on anything but I can’t blame him here. I’m not sacrificing my fighter for you after you chose to sign with someone else. However, Jamie should win that fight so it may be a good investment for GBP.

Funny coming from a guy that bites and throws knees in a boxing match. Lol

Yes "kettle" and "pot" come to mind.
it's also a consequence of being promoted by a guy with a coke addiction.

“I had a sit down with [De La Hoya] right before I signed with Eddie,” noted Berlanga. “He’s a guy with an itchy Twitter finger. He just wanna type his ass off. Just chill, man. Relax.”

Hilarious. Berlanga's a funny guy. I like him.

Oscar was taking shots at Eddie, not Berlanga! It will be interesting to see how PBC deals with Oscar going forward. Benavidez has called out Munguia, but I doubt PBC is interested in "co-promotion" with DAZN for that fight. Will Oscar insist like he did for Jermall Charlo? How did that work out for him last time? Can he afford to piss off Munguia, and Ryan Garcia? Lord knows, it will be DEVASTATING for GBP if Stanionis beats Vergil Ortiz Jr.!

I don’t get it. Oscar makes a comment and Berlanga gets all upset. Why? Oscar’s remark was far from threatening. Todays young MEN ( I use that word loosely) are such a bunch of cry babies. Their suppose to be tuff fighters but more and more act like SPOILED teenage girls. Disgusting. I’m embarrassed for them. No wonder why women are turning away from men and joining with women. Women have more balls than men now a days.

If they boxed today, I’d still favor Oscar to win
