When discussing size in boxing, you have to think about weight.
Height and reach only matters if the fighter uses it. Spence gives up his height and reach with the way he fights, he gives it away.
Is Spence heavier than Crawford? That’s what could play a part. And even that plays a bigger part if the fighter uses the weight advantage. For example Fury-Wilder II and III.

I asked one of my OG’s that worked with Murad Muhammad here in NJ. He said pick Spence because he will weigh as much as 15-17lbs more on fight night.

15-17lbs more than Crawford or 15-17lbs over 147?
I’m still reluctantly picking Spence and rooting for him. But I don’t like his inactivity and his comments (before Crawford talks) about the car crash cutting his career short and not having much time left in boxing.
Crawford claims he walks around 177lbs. In a 2019 interview with GQ, Spence said he walks around 170.

Im just glad weâre finally getting this level of fight between 2 top 5 p4p boxers.
For sure, it’s about time.
If that’s true about the 12-15lbs more, I wonder if he will fight Crawford with an inside fighting type of style and use his weight to kind of wear him down. He wore down Ugas by just coming forward and fighting like a dog, but Crawford moves better than Ugas and punches harder.
