Bud is getting put in the dirt come the 29th July. I know Flabby Bomac is already rehearsing his lines for fight night. He’s not going to know what to do /say similar to his other fighters

You know this is dangerous for both fighters, right? Actually, it would favor the better counter puncher which is Crawford who specializes on punching in between his opponents punches.

Earl got rocked several times by Porter and body bag Ugas even nearly knocked him through the ropes. When Bud connects like that, Earl will wake up on August 5th.

Unlike Horn's decision over Pacquiao, Ugas put a beating on Manny, so much so that his wife was crying in the audience and he retired after. So, Ugas is much better than you are giving him credit for.
Ugas “beat” Porter before Spence did as well. So was Porter damaged then too ? Porter was also knocked down by Broner at one point as well. How much did that take out of his career ?

I don’t think it’s fair to talk about the Porter versions as if they were vastly different. That’s just not true. He lost a SPLIT decision to Spence. Pitched a shutout in his next fight, and then went straight into Bud.

Ugas beat Bud in the amateurs. Hooray. Then he turned pro and lost to two pedestrian guys and Amir Imam.

Ugas is better than Jeff horn. Cool. Lol. Def doesn’t make him good. He won his title against an ATG at the end of his career as a late replacement opponent. I think both of them are C level guys.

Again: Shawn Porter is BOTH of their best wins. he didn’t come into the fight with his face already broken in half or 5 years removed from his best days. He had a couple of nice NAME wins and competitive losses against guys when they were at or close to the top of their game. Porter is no ATG either. And if he’s both their best win then they have pretty similar resumes. Neck and neck. I don’t wanna split hairs here. If someone feels Spence has a SLIGHTLY better resume then cool. But if someone says “Crawford hasn’t fought anybody “ they need to put the word “either” at the end of that statement. Lol

U have to remember that Bud lives the life of a fighter all the time, training even when there's no fight on the horizon. He stays in shape. That alone makes u much more durable than other fighters. Errol does train hard and is always in great shape for his fights, but he has also spent a lot of time drinking and abusing his body. And the accident has taken a toll whether it's noticeable or not. His face hit the pavement and he was knocked out cold and lost 2 weeks worth of memory. Those nerves have been hurt and that bell has been rung in a major way. A knockout is a knockout, whether in the ring or on the pavement. It just takes the right punch in the right spot to bring some of that previous damage to the surface. So for those reasons, in a long tough fight, I have to go with the guy who never let his body, his brain and his organs down with alcohol
I can not argue with that assessment . We just have to watch the fight and see what transpires .

Did you notice how Mikey Garcia and everyone else came out of hiding at 135 once Bud left the division? Did you notice how Taylor and Prograis came out of the shadows at 140 once Bud moved up to 147? Prior to Crawford leaving jr. welterweight, no one had heard a thing about Taylor or Prograis. That says a lot.
Crawford had chances to fight Danny and Mikey, as well as Lamont Peterson, but as always......

Not like Porter got the brakes beat off of him or lost a step. After he got a split decision loss vs Spence and boxed a shutout against Formella he went straight to Bud. That’s not many miles, and he didn’t look bad at all vs Crawford. Just not as talented.

They both fought compromised versions of Kell. I agree for sure that Spence fought a MUCH BETTER version, but even that one was fresh off of a massive beat down by GGG where he got his face broken. This was not a top form Brook by any stretch of the imagination. Severely compromised.

Ugas is a trash fighter. I won’t prop up his last minute late replacement win over an old pacquiao any more than I’m going to prop up Jeff Horn’s win over Manny. Ugas has taken many L’s against questionable opposition. He is not some great fighter by any means. To me he’s not even good. He lucked up on a title the same as Horn.

Spence has been at WW his entire career. This is Bud’s third division. I think Spence has the slightly better 147 resume, but taking Bud’s resume at 135/140 into consideration I think they are neck and neck.

again, Porter is BOTH their best wins.
