So, is Tank the biggest American boxing star right now?

I honestly don't know. He might be, but I think Ryan was the main reason the fight was so big. It must be between him and Spence, but I wouldn't count Ryan out just yet.

Funny, I got his sarcasm and missed yours. I must be getting old.

Those Fury fights had big mainstream buzz. I had people that don’t follow boxing talking about the rematch.
Wilder may be known, but he's far from the biggest American star of boxing. He'd actually have to WIN high profile fights, not get KO'd in them.

All of his other PPV's were 200-250k tops. 5 in a row in that area. Then he fights Ryan and there's a million more buys. That was ALL about his dance partner, and the people that came for Ryan sure aren't going to stay for Tank. He's not got the looks for that crowd, and he does have the criminal record, and Ryan's fans aren't in it for the boxing. I will be shocked if he crosses 500k again in his lifetime, absent a rematch with Ryan Garcia. Maybe if he fights Jake Paul. That would break a million easy, but it's not going to be on Tank's star power.
