Is that you Eddie? It's a chance to be the WBC king, why wouldn't you at least discuss it. If they are desperate for Joshua to be the opponent then get more of the pie and who is dishing it out because this is what it's all really about.

No, the comment was actually spot on! I’m waiting to hear of the details of the contract. Since, you know, you read it right? Right!? If not then you’re a groupie, a hero worshipper or side piece.

      Which is it?

Because when Joshua agrees to everything, and calls his bluff, again, he'll put out an undoable BS deadline. Then Joshua will be left pissing in the wind, and Fury will fight some undefeated bouncer from the Balkans, claiming he deserves it. We've been here before, remember? Plus, for once, there's a genuine chance of landing the Wilder fight, who has avoided him even more than Zero cred Fury. And if that fight happens, it most likely becomes a final eliminator. If Joshua got that, then Fury would have to fight or be stripped. Then he's backed into a corner.

Warren KNOWS that September doesn't work for Joshua. Warren KNOWS that a September fight would scupper the possibility of that tournament happening. Warren KNOWS that Fury has been exposed as a con man, all talk and no tough fights. Warren KNOWS that Fury won't fight a good up and comer, like Sanchez or Anderson.
Sanchez is available, not sure what Hrgovic is up to but he'd likely be game. There is no shortage of fighters who'd make credible opponents for Fraudy, but Warren and the WBC would rather make excuses for their guy and pretend to attempt to make bouts they KNOW are not feasible.
Strip the guy, he's an idiot.

There is no way AJ could get the Saudi money for fighting Wilder in December if he fights Fury in September. He had to chose between one option or the other and he made his choice. Warren should accept that and stop his demented ranting and whining.

And there is no such thing as a lineal belt, btw.

Exactly. Maybe Fury would do what he did with Usyk ... keep Hearn and AJ tangled up in negotiations till a month before the fight date then suddenly move the goalposts and change the offer from 40% to something a lot less.

I had to laugh when Eddie said that, remembering that only 6 months ago Fury was all over social media telling everybody that AJ had blown his chance of fighting for the WBC title and he was never going to get another!

I like Fury, but even I'm getting tired of his ****. AJ is looking for one big payday then retire. Don't blame him at all. AJ needs to stay busy with bums until a fat check comes his way. I'm not listening to anything Fury has to say. Same goes for Usyk. either get in the ring or shut the hell up.

todays boxing sucks so bad. Few people say Ali was overrated. he defended his title 9 times in 3 years in the other guy's backyard. I don't think Ruiz, Wilder, AJ, Usyk, or Fury even has an upcoming fight. Wake me up when they fight somebody.
