What people don’t understand is hearn isn’t in this to make money. He’s a clout chaser. A used car salesmen is the best description. He scammed DAZN into giving him a blank check. He gives no effs that his events rarely turn a profit cause the reality is they don’t have to everything is already paid for. That’s how promoters promote in 2023. The “new gen”. What does bob Arum Barry Hearn and Frank Warren know about boxing?

They're all as bad as each other, but can't really blame Joshua for being sceptical about whether Fury's offer is in good faith (clue: it's probably not). Joshua vs Wilder is a very credible fight and the plan of that fight in December plus some kind of preparatory fight in the summer has long be in the offing. That, bundled with Fury shltting on his own doorstep by being a prima donna with negotiations, probably made it a very easy decision for Hearn and co to tell Fury to do one.

The offer might be completely legitimate. Fury might really want Joshua and be happy to offer him 40%.

Or it might be bullschitt. Who knows?

Team Joshua seem confident that August and December is done. I'm sure they'd rather fight Fury, but are they willing to change focus based on a late offer from an unreliable guy?

I wouldn't if I were in their shoes. It's a pretty obvious decision. I think Fury knows that too, which is why they're pushing it.

And if Joshua wins twice... a Fury fight will be bigger.

Warren's the one talking a lot of b.llock here. Greedy Belly has been using AJ's name each time he has already made up his mind to fight another easy to beat opponent. AJ has wisely moved on from this dishonest clown and his evenly dishonest team. No one is waiting for Greedy Belly and his clowns circus. Who do these lots think that they are fooling? AJ follows his own plan and if Greedy Belly is serious about fighting him he can come back to him next 2024 after he has faced Usyk, if he ever dares to step in the ring with him.

Fury and his team are not trustworthy. Nobody wants to count on their promises and plans anymore.
Fury had the chance to fight Usyk and unify but ruined it.

Well said. AJ is wisely following his own path. AJ and his team have already experienced how highly unreliable Greedy Belly is so it would be foolish to change his plans for this clown.

Hearn is not the TOPIC here, the topic is Greedy Belly is untrustworthy clown whom no one takes seriously anymore. He should stop running from Usyk. AJ has already made his plans for this year and Greedy Belly is not in that plan and this dishonest clown knew that. This his so called offer is a mere distraction of the fact he's ducking Usyk. Greedy Belly only uses AJ's name for distraction and clout chasing. The next you will hear is that he's picked out a hopeless opponent for a meaningless bout. That's been his modus operandi for years.

You sound like a typical National Enquirer fan girl. Did you read the contract? Are you either boxer’s side piece?

I digress. I hadn’t made it down this far. Yes. You are definitely Joshie’s side piece.

Would you rather risk them doing what they usually do and screwing you over, if it meant turning down another job that's a no good job and with a company known for being fair and honest?

This isn't the first time Fury has screwed around with fake offers with AJ by a long shot. If you legitimately believe that Fury was making a totally aboveboard offer with no strings attached, I've got a Nigerian prince for you to meet and some swampland to sell you. Just look at how many different people Fury has called out since he screwed the Usyk negotiations, and yet he still doesn't have a fight. What's the common factor?
