  • Comments Thread For: Usyk-Dubois Now Set For August 26 in Wroclaw, To Align With Ukraine Independence Day

The Oleksandr Usyk-Daniel Dubois unified heavyweight title fight will now take place two weeks after its original target date. The slight delay is for good reason. Alex Krassyuk, Usyk's career-long promoter and head of K2 Promotions-Ukraine, revealed that the bout will now take place August 26 at Stadion Wroclaw (Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw) in Wroclaw, Poland. The switch is to align the event with Ukraine Independence Day (August 24), with a crowd of 24,000 expected in the heavily Ukrainian-populated region.

Politicizing this event in a heavily charged political situation, if I were Dubois I would pull out.

        Why?

        Doing so would
        (a) damage his career
        (b) give up his shot at the titles
        (c) be more of a political statement than fighting

This Could not have gone any better for the WBC fraud and his protector Uncle Frank.

Feeding poor old injured Dubois to Usyk, he’s still
probably walking like Doofy out of scary movie after his last fight and there throwing him to the wolves in the polish bad lands.

All because little old fairy is petrified of a middleweight and would rather end his stable mates career to avoid him.

Dubois is definitely b side. Seeing how he suffered versus Larena makes me wonder if he even deserves a title fight

I'd honestly be suprised if Dubois wins 1 round against Usyk.
This is gonna be a master class and I see Dubois giving up in his stool later in the fight.
Thats of course assuming his knee doesn't explode again!
