Okolie did win some rounds clearly, but the rounds Chris won were bigger, due to the knockdowns and points deductions.
It was a very scrappy and somewhat entertaining fight.
Okolie has this way of punching and when inside, holding and wrestling. It's just not that good to watch, but I fully respect him and all fighters.
So, for those who want to dissect another scorecard, how do you like this one? One judge saw it a draw, and the other two have it as wide as seven and nine points.
I think the correct score would be somewhere between the draw and the way too wide margins.

Great fight. Arguably the best fight of all time. It was a massive come down switching over for the last 6 rounds of the very average Leigh Wood vs a disinterested Lara. Time for Lara to run off with his title money and enjoy some p@ssy. For Wood, maybe a rematch with Jazza Dickens before he settles down to the rest of his life in Gedling, Nottinghamshire. As others have stated Okolie probably has the worst style of any world level champion.Last edited by low blows; 05-27-2023, 10:33 PM.
