Well done Billam-Smith, I guess he kinda exposed Okolie.
Okolie did win some rounds clearly, but the rounds Chris won were bigger, due to the knockdowns and points deductions.
It was a very scrappy and somewhat entertaining fight.
Okolie has this way of punching and when inside, holding and wrestling. It's just not that good to watch, but I fully respect him and all fighters.
So, for those who want to dissect another scorecard, how do you like this one? One judge saw it a draw, and the other two have it as wide as seven and nine points.
I think the correct score would be somewhere between the draw and the way too wide margins.
Okolie bullies people with his size, reach and his holding tactics (mainly holding tactics) but when the holding is removed his skills are lacking. He's obv his own worse enemy though, fighting that style an ignoring fundamentals is a recipe for disaster. Its not pleasing on the eye either, im glad he lost.
Okolie has stated in the past he want to move to heavyweight lol, he will get absolutely dominated by any top guy when he decides to/if move up.

Can you imagine Akinwande v Okolie, it'd be torture to watch hopefully CBS does away with him for good in the rematch, it's as if Okolie based his style on Wlad vs Povetkin...
