Regarding Richie Sandoval, he made a full recovery after the Canizales fight. There was a story in KO or one of the magazines that Bob Arum offered him $25 000 a year for a trainer or similar position for Top Rank. (In 1986 I guess this was pretty good?)
I saw him working as a trainer for someone years ago, and he was fine.

There is a current referee who is ALWAYS looking to stop fights. I won’t say his name because he has been assigned to a few of my fights. People think he’s good but he isn’t. He’s too squeamish and he’s always in the way. He’s always trying to stop a fight for the A side. He’s too involved.
Sounds like Bayless. He's been utterly horrible for well over a decade.

It's not the original so it's shitty quality, but I can put the original on Mega.nz if ya want:

WEEKS is rerrible also. He let Ward T off on Kov's nuts and soon as he could he stopped that fight.

That's about 70k salary in todays dollars. Nothing to scoff at. Especially guaranteed money for a fighter.

Gerald Maclellan gets a couple hundred bucks a month IIRC.
