  • Comments Thread For: Vasiliy Lomachenko: "It's More Pressure For Haney, I'm Underdog, I'm Old Boxer"

For a considerable amount of time, Vasiliy Lomachenko dreamed of hoisting every world title in a given weight class. Of course, due to the mind-numbing politics of boxing at times, doing so can become a hassle.

Loma speaking truth! Haney loses, his stock drops HARD! He's not that popular to begin with, and if he loses to 35 year old Loma, who's already got dropped by Linares, bullied by an old, fat, Salido, and beat by a 23 year old Teofimo, who only had 15 fights b4 Loma, then that looks very weak!!!

I feel like Haney is getting to get clipped and won’t recover from it. I don’t get this narrative that Haney is some masterful defender who doesn’t get hit, Haney gets sloppy in the second half of fights and his inside game will be his downfall. He better hold on

haney is looking young and sharp and great at this weight, loma would need to be just as sharp if not sharper than haney to get inside and work, lomas fights recently just dont suggest he can do that plus haney may well be the best guy lomas faced at 135 so thats why haney is the big bookies fav in this one

I want to jump on the Loma bandwagon so bad, but I’m afraid you’re right.

Loma has had a fantastic career, for a few fights that he had. I do think the whole matrix talk was silly though.

He has greatness, and also brilliant in the amateurs, but I mean, he's not Sugar Ray Leonard.
