Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn On Ryan Garcia: "You Can't Say He Didn't Quit"

Initially, Ryan Garcia was praised for his willingness to not only talk the talk but also walk the walk. After years of brazenly stating that he'll wipe the floor with Gervonta Davis, Garcia (23-1, 19 KOs) immured himself in a negotiating room and refused to leave until a deal was officially done. Though he was forced to capitulate to many of Davis' demands, Garcia was given his wish.

Unlike AJ who went out on his shield against Ruiz.

Yes and danced his way to victory (?) in the rematch. And forever was afraid to take a chance with anyone of consequence after that loss. Weak match ups after that and behaviour in the ring that was less then or rather more then strange. " I aint no 12 round fighter" yea we noticed that is not all some people noticed about his boy Josh.

To be fair, Garcia did as well as Matchroom USA in its “big U.S. takeover”

                Oh word??

Matchrooom sold 1.4 mill PPV buys?! Canelo-GGG 3 was an unmitigated flop and disaster…

Matchroom has a $28 million gate for a show!? Wow new news to me.

Most fighters don't get up after a hard body shot. Tank would have finished Ryan anyway so who cares?

Here’s some numbers for you. 6,7,4 and two. Garcia completed 6 round vs Tank. He lost 4 rds, won 2rds, and quit like a bytche in round 7.

Here’s the likeliest scenario. Garcia looses by stoppage vs his next quality opponent and POOF, all of that drawing power is gone.

I realize that you personally are responsible for the cleanliness of Oscars testicles but you need a new hero. GBP is on life support. Garcia just failed his first test via quit job. Ramirez just lost by landslide to Bivol (I still can’t believe that you posted that this was a close fight) and Ortiz is seriously ill and may never fight again.
