Comments Thread For: George Kambosos Anxious To Make Return, Prove He's Far From Done

It was a win that was unlikely but one that George Kambosos Jr. greatly appreciated. In November of 2021, after months of back-and-forth trash talk and countless postponements, both Kambosos and Teofimo Lopez officially squared off. Viewed as a gigantic underdog on the night, many were expecting the 29-year-old to suffer a quick and painful end before scurrying home.

He is done. Got lucky against Lopez and I do not see him winning anymore belts.

There’s just too much talent at lightweight for his caliber to be able to compete at this point so get paid a little more off your name, then ride off into the sunset. Bummmm!

He will go down as the worst undisputed ever. Got lucky with Lopez but he does have heart .Maybe a few good fights left but will win no title worth anything.

Maybe he will lol. But the Lopez fight wasn’t luck. You could say he was lucky to come up against an overconfident and reckless Lopez at that moment in time, but even then, he out psyched Lopez in the lead up, so I don’t see it as a lucky win. A rematch would be interesting at this point given both have fallen off

The hate is real out he just lost to someone better him. It happens all the time in boxing. Let’s wait and see what else happens in his career

Would rather have like a guy fights a number of champs and wins all belts, he is undisputed, if he gets beat then the guy that beat him gets any belt he chooses and the remaining become vacant, that way undisputed has to earn it over a number of wins, not just one.
