Comments Thread For: Victor Morales Floors, Knocks Out Diego De La Hoya Inside Of Two Rounds

Victor Morales asked for Diego De La Hoya by name. The unbeaten featherweight did not at all squander the opportunity, twice flooring the familiar-named fringe contender en route to a second-round knockout. Morales bloodied and dropped De La Hoya seconds before a follow-up attack produced a full ten count at 1:08 of round two in their DAZN-televised co-feature Saturday evening at College Park Center at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Diego vs Oscar now would be a good fight that would sell. It would be interesting. Winner gets a shot at Floyd Exhibitionweather. Nash out

Wonder if Morales will become a top 10 contender based on this performance.

Not like DDLH was a top 10 contender but he was pretty close to being one and Morales shut him down quite early.

No Diego wasn't. He won his last one against a scrub, before that a no contest, before that he was knocked out.
